In Transformative Guilt, I speak with Couples and Family Counselor Mrs. Leora Mandel about the complex emotions that arise when caring for aging parents. What we often call “guilt” may actually be a mix of deeper feelings—grief, love, responsibility, and loss. This conversation invites a more compassionate and honest understanding of the caregiver experience.

For more than 40 years, Rabbi Zev Leff has been a beloved voice in the world of Torah education. As the rav of Moshav Matityahu in central Israel, Rabbi Leff teaches daily, guiding his community with warmth, clarity, and unwavering dedication. His influence extends far beyond the moshav — he is sought after internationally, delivering shiurim and lectures across Israel and throughout the Jewish world.
A musmach of the Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland, Rabbi Leff learned under Rav Mordechai Gifter, zt”l. He began his rabbinic career as the Rabbi of Young Israel of Greater Miami before making aliyah with his family and settling in Moshav Matityahu in 1983, where he continues to serve as mara d’asra.
Rabbi Leff is also a respected author and lecturer, sharing deep Torah insights on the parsha, tefillah, and the Jewish holidays.
